JACKSONVILLE, Ill. As we reach the last full week in October, some Illinois College programs will be closing out their seasons, while others look to use this week as a springboard towards the future. The IC men's and women's soccer teams finish off the 2018 season with a doubleheader at Grinnell on Saturday. The volleyball team, fresh off of qualifying for the Midwest Conference Tournament, warms up with four non-conference matches away from home. Elsewhere, the men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the MWC Championships and the Winter season gets officially underway as the men's and women's swimming teams compete at Lincoln. The lone home event over the next seven days comes on Saturday afternoon as the Blueboy football team hosts Senior Day at England Stadium against Grinnell at 1 p.m.
