SPRINGFIELD, Ill. The Illinois College women's cross country team finished second out of four teams at the UIS First Meet on Friday afternoon. Competing in cross country for the first time ever this season, the meet was the first official competition for the UIS Prairie Stars. McKendree won the meet with 23 points, while the Lady Blues followed with 52. UIS was third with 65 points and Blackburn rounded out the scoring with 99 points.
